The Scope

Applying the epoxy binder by hand is slow, inconsistent, and exposes operators to fumes. RAPSEB, PHEE's experiment inside the EU ARISE programme, brings robotic automation to the biocomposite production line to make the process cleaner, faster, and more precise.

Our Proposal

Working with Parity Platform, PHEE automates epoxy binder spraying on its production line using a UR10e robot and ROS 2. The target is 8 to 12% less binder, a 20% shorter cycle time, and safer conditions for operators.
